Silent Valley what a lovely place to be.
Drove in the gate to realise that we had no cash and couldn’t pay by card so we thought we would chance it, Anyway rolled down the window and played dumb “oh I’m sorry I’ve no cash I do apologise” The Gate attendants response as he looked too his left, then too his right “Don’t worry about it go on ahead” I looked at him and said “Are you serious” to which he replied “Quick go before someone sees” “Thanks” as I drove off.
Got down to the car park to find the place was packed, Walking along the path we passed this small lake with a few ducks in it, kids feeding them the households good Hovis loaf, didn’t even butter it stingy gits.
Got to the main Reservoir and the sky was perfect not completely cloudy but enough to make it atmospheric for a picture, Blue sky and the water was nice and calm, what a lovely seen.
We found out later that day that a person we new had been there the day before and the mist covered everything, So lucky for us we came on the right day.
So ended up with this nice Long Exposure and a couple of duck pictures of course.
